Senior Risk Prevention Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Senior Risk Prevention Analyst in a full-time remote capacity, who will manage operational and technical risk assessments, utilizing fraud mitigation tools and AI technology to enhance fraud detection and prevention strategies while supporting both external clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement fraud strategies using transaction data and advanced analytics to mitigate losses
• Coordinate the Risk Analytics team's tasks, ensuring adherence to turnaround times and quality of outputs
• Consult with clients on fraud detection and prevention matters, while monitoring and analyzing fraud trends to determine mitigation measures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Seven years of experience in the financial services industry, specifically in risk analytics and fraud services
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience analyzing large datasets for actionable insights
• Familiarity with fraud orchestration and decisioning tools, such as DefenseEdge or Falcon
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
