Job Summary
Focused on designing and building an advanced interaction routing platform, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop core routing engines for enterprise-scale contact center operations, working remotely while utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions
- Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on various factors including skills, priorities, and business rules
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across routing paths and interaction workloads
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture for distributed applications
- Expert-level experience with Java, Spring Boot, and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
- Deep understanding of API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and integration data flows
