Job Summary
Designing and building the next generation interaction routing platform, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop core routing engines for enterprise-scale contact center operations, focusing on intelligent distribution of interactions across various channels and agents while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions
- Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on various business rules and ensure high availability and scalability
- Integrate routing services with telephony, CRM, and analytics platforms while optimizing systems for performance and resiliency
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture for distributed applications
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
- Knowledge of ACD concepts, skill-based routing, and workload balancing
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases and data modeling
