Senior Routing Engine Developer
Job Summary
To design and build the next generation interaction routing platform for enterprise-scale contact center operations, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop core routing engines and scalable backend services, primarily using Java and Spring Boot, while collaborating with various teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions
- Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on various factors such as skills, priorities, and business rules
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across routing paths and interaction workloads
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture for distributed applications
- Expert-level experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures
- Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
- Deep understanding of API-first design and event-driven architecture
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
