Senior Routing Engine Developer
Job Summary
To design and build the next generation interaction routing platform, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop the core routing engine for intelligent distribution of voice and digital interactions across agents and queues, working remotely with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time interaction distribution
- Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on various parameters including skills and priorities
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across routing paths and workloads
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture for distributed applications
- Expert-level experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures
- Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
- Knowledge of ACD concepts and skill-based routing
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
