Job Summary
Designing and building the next generation interaction routing platform, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop core routing engines for enterprise-scale contact center operations, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines that distribute voice and digital interactions in real time
- Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, capacity, availability, and business rules
- Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance across queues and routing paths
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture for distributed applications
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
- Knowledge of ACD concepts, agent states, and skill-based routing
- Experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases and data modeling
