Senior Routing Engine Developer

Job Summary

To design and build the next generation interaction routing platform, the full-time Senior Routing Engine Developer will develop the core routing engine for enterprise-scale contact center operations, focusing on intelligent distribution of voice and digital interactions, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines that distribute voice and digital interactions in real time
• Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, capacity, availability, and business rules
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance across queues, routing paths, and interaction workloads

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with substantial ownership of architecture and technical delivery for distributed applications
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience developing routing logic for contact center or customer engagement platforms
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, skill-based routing, and workload balancing
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing systems
