Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting and enhancing business-critical applications remotely, the full-time Senior RPG Programmer/Analyst will utilize strong expertise in RPG/RPGLE development on IBM i/AS400 environments to deliver reliable solutions, analyze requirements, and resolve production issues.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support applications on IBM i / AS400
- Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into effective solutions
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes to improve application stability
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in IBM i / AS400 application development
- Hands-on proficiency with RPG / RPGLE
- Experience with CL and IBM i SQL
- Working knowledge of Synon2/E (COOL 2/E)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
