Senior Ruby API Developer
Job Summary
To support a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time Senior Ruby API Developer will design, develop, enhance, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and RESTful API endpoints in a 100% remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications and RESTful API endpoints
- Develop scalable and maintainable APIs that support integrations between applications and services
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design and deliver application enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Ruby on Rails
- Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Experience with React, JavaScript, and modern web application development
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance
