Senior Salesforce Developer
Job Summary
Leading the modernization of enterprise systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Senior Salesforce Developer will manage Salesforce implementations, design advanced solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce development efforts in collaboration with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions
- Design and develop advanced Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations to support complex enterprise requirements
- Guide the implementation of AI-driven capabilities and establish development standards for secure, scalable code
Required qualifications
- Proven experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrations using REST APIs and event-driven architecture
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce development best practices
- Experience in Agile and DevSecOps environments, including CI/CD practices and tools
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Agentforce and Einstein for automation and user experience enhancement
- Ability to mentor junior developers and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
