Senior SAP Basis Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior SAP Basis Engineer will manage technical support for client SAP landscapes, oversee system enhancements and updates, and serve as the primary delivery contact for select client accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a single point of contact for planning and scheduling client technical maintenance and upgrades
- Perform project-based and production support, including SAP system migrations and ongoing maintenance activities
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for problem resolution and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, or equivalent work experience
- 8-10 years of relevant hands-on SAP Basis engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience as an SAP Basis engineer in a 24x7 service provider or advanced IT organization
- Solid background administering SAP HANA and SAP Sybase databases
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ansible preferred
