Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant
Job Summary
To modernize and migrate enterprise reporting environments, the remote Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant will assess existing systems, develop migration strategies, and execute upgrades from SAP BusinessObjects 4.2 to 4.3 and 2025, as well as migrate Crystal Reports from 2016 to 2020.
Key responsibilities
- Assess existing BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports infrastructure, integrations, and security
- Develop and execute a phased migration strategy, including rollback and risk mitigation plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to produce documentation and conduct testing and validation activities
Required qualifications
- 3+ years upgrading SAP BusinessObjects from 4.2 to 4.3
- 3+ years of Windows Server administration/migration experience, preferably with Windows Server 2022
- 5+ years of experience modernizing legacy reporting systems and managing dependencies
- 3+ years migrating Crystal Reports from 2016 to 2020
- Strong experience with BusinessObjects architecture, security, and troubleshooting
