Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant
Job Summary
To support a critical migration project, the full-time Senior SAP BusinessObjects Consultant will manage the upgrade of the SAP BusinessObjects platform from version 4.2 to 4.3 and subsequently to 2025, while migrating Crystal Reports from 2016 to 2020, all within a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing SAP BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports environment to identify components and migration risks
- Develop and execute a detailed migration plan that includes upgrading the platform and migrating reports while ensuring compatibility with existing systems
- Provide post-migration support and documentation, ensuring all integrations and functionalities are validated and operational
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects platform upgrades, specifically from version 4.2 to 4.3
- Proven expertise in migrating systems to Windows Server 2022, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems and migrating Crystal Reports from 2016 to 2020
- Familiarity with SAP BusinessObjects 2025 and its upgrade processes, with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Strong understanding of database connections and enterprise integrations related to SAP reporting environments
