Senior SAP Commerce Engineer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic digital systems team, the full-time remote Senior SAP Commerce Platform Engineer will build and extend the SAP Commerce backend, integrate it with upstream enterprise systems, and independently diagnose and resolve production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom SAP Commerce extensions and integrations in a multi-brand environment
• Diagnose and resolve production issues by analyzing logs and performance metrics to ensure system reliability
• Conduct PR reviews and produce documentation to enhance team knowledge and architectural adherence

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of strong SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) backend experience with independent ownership of platform work
• Proficient in building extensions across type system, service layer, and integration logic using sound design patterns
• Ability to troubleshoot issues through SAP Commerce Cloud logs and Dynatrace independently
• Experience in building and maintaining integrations with upstream systems (ERP, PIM, CRM) through middleware
• Strong communication skills to convey technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
