Senior SAP Development Engineer
Job Summary
As a hands-on technical resource, the full-time Senior SAP Development Engineer will oversee the quality and delivery of custom development for Project Elevate, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the technical owner for application development, leading efforts from requirements gathering to deployment and support
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot various SAP objects, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business analysts and functional leads to evaluate capabilities and recommend solutions that balance business value and maintainability
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Four or more years of SAP application-development experience, including hands-on ABAP development in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP environments
- Experience delivering custom SAP objects through the entire software development lifecycle
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA extensibility, ABAP, CDS, and Fiori/UI5 development
- Experience with secure coding practices and performance optimization in software development
