Senior Scientist I, QSP/QST
Job Summary
Leading consulting projects, the full-time Senior Scientist I, QSP/QST will utilize Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) and Toxicology (QST) models to execute technical tasks, primarily using MATLAB and THALES, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and maintain sub-models representing core cellular and biochemical processes
- Lead or contribute to consulting projects, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and managing project risks
- Oversee and mentor less experienced scientists while participating in R&D efforts and manuscript preparation
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in QSP/QST modeling or equivalent skill sets
- Master's degree in pharmaceutical science, biomedical engineering, or related life sciences field; PhD preferred
- Proficiency in MATLAB, THALES, and other relevant programming languages
- General knowledge of therapeutic areas and underlying biological processes
- Basic familiarity with large-language models and agentic AI applications
