Senior SDET Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the quality gate for an agentic codebase, the fully remote Senior SDET Engineer will manage acceptance testing, functional validation, and automated test suite design while collaborating with clients and engineers to ensure production readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Own acceptance testing, functional validation, and release-quality decisions for human- and AI-generated code
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks across web, API, and end-to-end workflows
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and communicate quality risks and recommendations to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SDET, quality assurance, or test automation, including ownership of test strategy
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, and/or Python
- Proficiency with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Vitest, Jest, or pytest
- Experience designing and maintaining automated tests for web, API, and end-to-end workflows
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tooling, pipelines, and quality-gating practices
