Job Summary
To enhance the discoverability of Khan Academy's content, the full-time Senior Search & AI Discoverability Engineer will manage technical SEO strategies, conduct audits, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize content for traditional and AI-powered search engines in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Research and implement GEO/AEO/AIO strategies to optimize content for AI-generated responses
- Conduct technical audits and translate findings into scoped engineering projects
- Partner with Marketing teams to prioritize discoverability improvements
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, including direct implementation
- Proficiency in coding (Go and React preferred) to deliver SEO improvements
- Working knowledge of AI-powered search and answer engines
- Experience with tools such as Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
