Job Summary
Supporting public-company financial reporting and SEC reporting activities, the full-time Senior SEC Reporting Analyst will prepare SEC filings, coordinate reporting calendars, and research accounting matters, with the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement based in Lansing, MI.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and support SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, and related disclosures
- Coordinate SEC reporting calendars and ensure accurate and timely submissions
- Research U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting matters, preparing technical accounting analyses and memoranda
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Five or more years of accounting experience, including financial reporting and technical accounting
- Experience with public-company reporting, specifically with Forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- CPA designation preferred
