Job Summary
To enhance the security posture of the organization, the full-time Senior Security Analyst will monitor and defend against cyber threats, conduct digital forensics and incident response activities, and leverage threat intelligence, working remotely or from the Seattle, WA or Herndon, VA offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform security monitoring and digital forensics across corporate and mission environments, analyzing events and alerts related to indicators of compromise
- Conduct regular threat hunting and apply insights from various sources of cyber threat intelligence to secure the enterprise
- Support vulnerability management processes and collaborate with IT or product owners to drive remediation activities for critical security concerns
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of seven (7) years' experience in security analyst and digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) activities
- At least one relevant security certification, such as CISSP, GCIH, or CHFI
- Experience with implementing and troubleshooting endpoint security mechanisms in Windows, MacOS, or Linux
- Proficiency in incident response, digital forensics, or malware analysis
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
