Senior Security Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Security Analyst III, the successful candidate will contribute to day-to-day security operations by assisting with threat monitoring, incident triage, and vulnerability remediation while collaborating with internal teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and support the triage of potential incidents, escalating to senior engineers as necessary
• Assist in executing security incident response playbooks and contribute to documentation for audit and compliance requirements
• Support vulnerability management by tracking risks and offering recommendations for IT controls improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Information Security, with expertise in Security Operations, Incident Response, or Vulnerability Management
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, and familiarity with EDR and SIEM tools
• Foundational knowledge of AWS or other cloud environments, and strong understanding of networking and operating systems
• Certifications such as CompTIA CySA+, GCIH, or CISSP associate are preferred
