Senior Security Analyst - NIST

Job Summary

Focused on Security Assessment & Authorization (A&A) for NIST systems, the full-time Senior Security Analyst - NIST will conduct A&A activities, provide technical solutions for risk mitigation, and support system personnel with remediation plans, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct A&A activities for NIST systems, working individually or as part of a team
• Provide technical and policy-driven solutions to remediate or mitigate identified risks
• Complete Security Assessment Reports involving technical and policy-related aspects of the assessment

Required qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience implementing the NIST 800 Series Special Publications
• Experience conducting IT assessor activities based on the NIST Risk Management Framework
• Demonstrable experience in performing Security Test and Evaluation and developing Security Assessment Reports
• Knowledge of IT security policy formation and implementation to ensure system confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Strong technical oral and writing skills for regular interaction with NIST colleagues and senior managers
