Senior Security Application Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing security protocols, the full-time Senior Security Application Engineer will manage detection strategies, automate security processes, and integrate cryptographic infrastructure while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own detection coverage strategy, mapping threat landscapes to MITRE ATT&CK TTPs and maintaining operational KPIs
• Support Solidigm's Product Security & Code Signing platform, enhancing automation for signing pipelines and cryptographic governance
• Embed security controls across firmware engineering and CI/CD teams, validating security measures through adversary emulation and testing

Required qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
• 4-6+ years of relevant hands-on experience in security engineering, including detection engineering and incident response workflows
• Proficiency in software development, particularly in Python, API integration, and CI/CD pipeline development
• Depth in MITRE ATT&CK and MITRE ATLAS techniques, including threat modeling for AI systems
• Working knowledge of cryptographic fundamentals, including HSM operations and certificate lifecycle management
