Senior Security Architect

Job Summary

Designing and implementing the security and enterprise architecture strategy, the full-time Senior Security Architect will define architecture guidelines, lead architectural evaluations, and partner with Security to manage enterprise risk, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Own security architecture standards and reference patterns for engineering teams to ensure secure and efficient operations
• Chair an Architecture Review Board to evaluate new applications, vendors, and AI integrations, making decisive approvals or rejections
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive third-party risk management lifecycle and application catalog for governance and compliance

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security or enterprise architecture, particularly in SaaS or cloud-native environments
• Expertise in IAM/IGA, cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure), SaaS security, and data security practices
• Hands-on experience with architecting AI systems and securing LLM tooling
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/42001, SOC 2, NIST, and related vendor-risk frameworks
• Ability to effectively communicate and push back on engineering and IT decisions while utilizing AI tools for rapid prototyping
