Senior Security Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting enterprise customers with SIEM engineering and security automation initiatives, the full-time Senior Security Automation Engineer will design, implement, and optimize security analytics solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and optimize SIEM and security analytics solutions across customer environments
- Onboard and validate security log sources and telemetry from various security technologies
- Develop and tune detection content, correlation rules, and security analytics to improve alert fidelity
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in SIEM engineering, detection engineering, or related cybersecurity disciplines
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or QRadar
- Experience developing and tuning correlation rules and detection content
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for security engineering and automation tasks
- Strong understanding of SOC operations and threat detection methodologies
