Senior Security Consultant, SOAR
Job Summary
To enhance Cyber Defense Center operations, the full-time Senior Security Consultant, SOAR will identify automation opportunities, advise on security technologies, and create Python-based SOAR playbooks while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Identify challenges in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate strategies for improvement
- Advise on technologies used by client CDC, CSIRT, and Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Create and modify SOAR playbooks using Python to assist in incident response
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 5 years of experience with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies
- 3 years of experience with Security Operations Center (SOC) or Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
