Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance cloud-native and application security, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage security posture, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own Cloud Security Posture Management, focusing on Kubernetes and container security practices
- Manage vulnerability lifecycles, prioritizing remediation based on production exposure
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering to implement secure SDLC and CI/CD safeguards
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in security engineering with hands-on experience in system hardening and security projects
- Strong technical proficiency in Kubernetes security and container hardening protocols
- Experience with threat modeling for applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go
- Hands-on experience with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD safeguards using GitHub Actions
- Direct experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and managing enterprise secrets
