Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning endpoint detection and cloud security in a remote environment, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage security operations, lead incident response, and build security controls across AWS while partnering with IT to define access policies.

Key responsibilities

• Own and tune the EDR/MDR stack, building detection policies and automation to focus on real threats
• Lead end-to-end incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents
• Define security requirements for identity management and collaborate with IT on access control implementations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, detection and response, or security engineering
• Hands-on experience with modern EDR programs, including building detection logic and leading investigations
• Expertise in endpoint security across managed and BYOD devices
• Experience with AWS security, including IAM and network controls
• Knowledge of threat modeling across systems and vendor implementations
