Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the protection of information assets, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will lead the implementation and configuration of security tools, manage incident response activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of security tools to ensure compliance with information security standards across various platforms
• Monitor and assess risks related to privacy and identity theft, providing security governance during the systems development lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for risk mitigation and develop remediation plans in collaboration with service and technology owners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Ten years of progressive experience in Information Security roles, with at least six years of hands-on experience
• Security-related certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud security solutions
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements impacting information security functions
