Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will design security-by-default infrastructure, manage vulnerability and pentesting programs, and lead incident response efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure across AWS-based platforms while collaborating closely with the Engineering team
• Manage the vulnerability management program, prioritizing findings and driving remediation efforts
• Lead incident response operations, including detection, containment, and post-incident reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering with hands-on experience in production environments
• Strong coding ability across multiple languages, particularly Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and Go
• Deep experience with AWS cloud infrastructure security and related tools
• Proven track record in managing vulnerability programs and conducting pentesting
• Experience in leading incident response efforts and maintaining compliance recertifications
