Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a key member of the Security team, the full-time Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer will partner with product and infrastructure teams to build secure platforms, enhance cloud security posture, and assist in ongoing security operations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Infrastructure teams to build secure systems and conduct security reviews
• Define and implement infrastructure and application guardrails to promote secure development practices
• Enhance Headway's cloud security posture through configuration standards and vulnerability remediation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security and/or software engineering roles with a focus on security-related projects
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with a history of partnering with various teams
• Technical expertise in building secure platforms and conducting security design and code reviews
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in infrastructure security
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while driving impactful results
