Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on remediating security vulnerabilities, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage AWS security, drive vulnerability management initiatives, and lead technical responses to security incidents in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate security findings across infrastructure by writing Terraform and application changes, driving fixes to completion
• Own AWS security posture, defining technical security baselines and enforcing them as code
• Conduct regular penetration testing and threat modeling for new services, serving as technical lead during security incidents

Required qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on security engineering experience with production systems
• Proficiency in writing code, specifically with Terraform and Python
• Deep experience in AWS security, including IAM and container workloads
• Experience with application security practices, including threat modeling and offensive testing
• Familiarity with security incident response and forensic investigation
