Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the integrity of Mozilla's products and keep users safe, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will monitor and mitigate security incidents, act as an incident commander, and design security alert systems while working remotely from the Netherlands.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and respond to security incidents on a global scale
- Drive incidents through the entire response lifecycle as an incident commander
- Design and maintain security alerts, automated actions, and escalation workflows for a 24/7 incident response capability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing security incidents at a global scale or in Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- Expertise with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, preferably Splunk
- Hands-on experience with endpoint detection and investigation using leading EDR tools
- Experience with security orchestration and automation (SOAR) platforms such as Tines or Splunk SOAR
- Practical experience with cloud technologies like Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
