Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will identify and respond to global security incidents, act as an incident commander throughout the response lifecycle, and design security alerts and workflows to support a high-performing incident response capability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and respond to security incidents on a global scale
• Act as an incident commander to drive incidents through the entire response lifecycle
• Design and maintain a portfolio of security alerts, automated actions, and playbooks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing security incidents at a global scale or in Security Operations Centers
• Expertise with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, preferably Splunk
• Hands-on experience with endpoint detection and investigation using leading EDR tools
• Experience with security orchestration and automation (SOAR) platforms
• Practical experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
