Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Senior Security Engineer to join a remote team, this full-time position will focus on enhancing security engineering, infrastructure, and application security while writing production code in Go and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security tooling and middleware for seamless integration into services
• Own security domains and initiatives, including Kubernetes hardening and application security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance and risk management efforts

Required qualifications

• Proficient in Go programming and experience with AWS and Kubernetes environments
• Demonstrated experience in security engineering and incident response
• Familiarity with SOC 1, SOC 2, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Ability to write production-level code and contribute to security design documentation
• Experience with SIEM and detection engineering practices
