Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security for cloud-native applications, the contract Senior Security Engineer will focus on securing Kubernetes clusters, developing automated security workflows, and implementing security monitoring and incident response strategies, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Secure Kubernetes clusters and implement secure CI/CD pipelines
• Develop automated security workflows using Python and integrate container security tools
• Utilize security monitoring tools for threat detection and respond to security incidents

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a security engineering role with a focus on large-scale infrastructure
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficient in Linux system administration and database security
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and incident response
• Strong development skills in Python for scripting and automation
