Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
To strengthen and mature an enterprise security program, the remote Senior Security Engineer will design and implement security controls across cloud, infrastructure, applications, and endpoints while managing risk and supporting security initiatives on a long-term contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enhance security controls for various environments including cloud and applications
- Lead initiatives in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Cloud Security, primarily focusing on AWS
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support security governance, risk management, and compliance audits
Required qualifications
- Strong background in Security Engineering and Information Security programs
- Experience with AWS Cloud Security and related technologies
- Familiarity with IAM, PAM, MFA, and RBAC
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring tools
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
