Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning product and infrastructure security, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will collaborate with engineering leads to conduct design and code reviews, manage vulnerability lifecycles, and enhance secure development practices in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security design reviews and threat modeling for new products and features, ensuring early identification of security concerns
• Manage the full lifecycle of vulnerability findings from audits and bug bounties, including triage, prioritization, and remediation tracking
• Enhance secure development practices by tuning CI/CD scanning tools and establishing product security standards and guidelines

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product security, application security, or security engineering, with a strong software engineering background
• Proven ownership of threat modeling and architecture review for complex financial or distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to find critical vulnerabilities in large production codebases, including through advanced review workflows
• Experience building and managing a vulnerability management program or bug bounty process
• Deep expertise in IAM, secrets management, network controls, and container security on AWS or similar platforms
