Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a globally distributed team, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will design and implement detection logic, investigate alerts, and automate response mechanisms while collaborating with platform and AI teams to enhance autonomous threat detection and response.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead investigations by triaging, analyzing, and responding to alerts across various environments with an automation-first approach
• Build detection logic and behavioral rules as code that is clear, testable, and scalable
• Automate response workflows by developing Go-based automation for enrichment, containment, and remediation playbooks

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in detection engineering, incident response, or blue team roles
• Experience building or integrating automated response systems
• Familiarity with detecting and responding to threats in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Practical experience in digital forensics and incident response
• Understanding of attacker tactics and techniques (MITRE ATT&CK, behavioral detection, threat modeling)
