Senior Security Engineer
Job Summary
Leading complex Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR implementations, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will remotely manage technical enablement projects for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions, focusing on deployment, automation, and client engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design and deployment of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR for customer environments
- Create and develop detection, automation, and reporting use cases based on client needs
- Assess and enhance the maturity of client SIEM and XDR deployments, providing strategic recommendations
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud Security or equivalent SIEM and XDR solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender security products
- Experience in enterprise production environments with SIEM and/or XDR technologies
- Proficiency in query languages or script development (KQL, SPL, SQL, PowerShell, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience and certifications
