Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security posture of the organization, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will define the security roadmap, manage compliance and audits, and execute hands-on engineering tasks to ensure the security of infrastructure and applications in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the annual security strategy, compliance goals, and risk management frameworks
• Harden cloud environments, manage IAM policies, and integrate automated security scanning into deployment pipelines
• Run security awareness programs and support sales by addressing security-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years in dedicated cybersecurity roles, preferably in a scaling startup environment
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with modern security tooling and the ability to write scripts for automation
• Direct experience leading or contributing to a SOC 2 audit
• Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
