Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Security Engineer will focus on building and executing insider threat detection capabilities, automating security detection, and responding to security incidents while collaborating with various teams to enhance security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Identify infrastructure gaps and collaborate with business partners to improve logging and detection
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 threat detection and incident response
• Develop automation and detection models to identify and mitigate insider threats at scale

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations, including detection engineering and incident response
• 8 years of experience in insider threat detection and building anomaly detectors
• Proficiency in AWS services, Python, and SQL
• Familiarity with the Cyber Kill Chain Framework and MITRE ATT&CK Framework
