Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading security incident response, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage end-to-end security incidents, enhance the incident response process, and build detections across cloud environments while working remotely from Brazil.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security incidents from triage to post-incident review and stakeholder communication
• Own and evolve the incident response process, including playbooks and on-call practices
• Build and tune detections in Datadog Cloud SIEM to improve threat detection and reduce alert noise

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Blue team/Defensive security/Security operations
• Hands-on experience leading security incident response and forensics in cloud environments
• Experience building and tuning SIEM detections, particularly in Datadog Cloud SIEM
• Proficiency in securing AWS and Kubernetes, including IAM and SSO reviews
• Experience with automation using Python and/or Bash, and managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
