Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Commanding complex security incidents, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will investigate threats across various systems, guide containment and recovery efforts, and innovate tools and workflows to enhance incident response while collaborating with multiple teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of high-impact security incidents from assessment through recovery and closure
• Coordinate containment and remediation efforts with system owners while managing urgency and business impact
• Develop automation tools and workflows to improve evidence collection and incident response efficiency

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on incident response and digital forensics experience
• Strong knowledge of attacker behavior and expertise in identity, endpoint, cloud, network, or application security
• Proficient in SQL/database understanding and programming/scripting skills, such as Python
• Experience developing AI-assisted workflows for incident coordination and case management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and executives
