Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Threat Detection and Response team, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage security incident investigations, automate detection processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform investigations of security incidents using digital forensics and data analytics
• Build automation and detection models to identify and respond to anomalous activities
• Collaborate with engineering and other partner teams to enhance security capabilities and conduct complex investigations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence
• Proficiency in Python and experience with SQL
• Knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Ability to work independently and lead in complex situations
