Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance insider threat detection and response, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will write detection algorithms, build anomaly-detection models, and hunt for insider threats while working onsite in San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Write detections for data abuse and data exfiltration at scale
• Build anomaly-detection models and automation to identify unusual user behavior
• Partner with HR and Legal on sensitive investigations and provide support during insider threat incidents

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on security operations experience, including detection engineering and threat hunting
• Experience with anomaly or behavior-based detection and insider threat technologies such as DLP and UEBA
• Programming fundamentals in Python and working knowledge of SQL
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks
