Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance threat detection and response capabilities, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will investigate security incidents, hunt for threats, and build detection logic while working onsite in San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security incidents end to end using digital forensics and data analytics
• Hunt for threats across corporate and production environments to identify anomalous activity
• Build detection logic and automate responses to contain threats at scale

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, including incident response and threat hunting
• Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language) and knowledge of SQL
• Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals
• Experience with anomaly-detection or behavior-based detections
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks
