Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning security deliverables end to end, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will coordinate smart-contract audits, perform offensive assessments on platforms, and continuously assess security posture while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and review smart-contract audits, respond to security questionnaires, and support CISO and compliance initiatives
• Run offensive assessments, including pentesting web apps, APIs, and backend services, while developing repeatable tooling
• Review code for security, focusing on authentication, cryptography, custody, and fund movement across blockchains

Required qualifications

• Strong application and infrastructure security fundamentals with experience in pentesting and vulnerability research
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with a solid understanding of systems and their vulnerabilities
• Experience with applied cryptography and blockchain security, including smart contract analysis
• Ability to drive security items to closure independently and communicate risks effectively to various stakeholders
• Automation mindset, with a focus on turning findings into tests, alerts, and platform improvements
