Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day operation of security controls across Azure and AWS, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will design and implement security measures, manage cloud security posture, and lead security testing efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cloud security controls, vulnerability remediation, and report status to leadership
• Ensure security testing is completed for changes, recommending and implementing necessary tooling
• Design Infrastructure as Code guardrails to ensure secure and compliant feature and data platform changes

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud security, DevSecOps, or platform engineering roles
• Experience securing AWS and Azure, including knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and AWS IAM
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation scripting
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST, software supply chain security, and API security
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers and product teams on security best practices
