Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning security initiatives across the organization, the full-time Senior Security Engineer will manage application and infrastructure security, conduct penetration testing, and lead employee training on security awareness in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously improve security across applications, infrastructure, and internal systems
• Conduct security-focused code reviews and perform hands-on penetration testing
• Lead employee security awareness initiatives and implement technical safeguards to reduce risks

Required qualifications

• Strong professional experience in security engineering or a similar role
• Hands-on mentality with a willingness to investigate problems and implement fixes
• Strong understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities
• Experience with penetration testing and security testing tools
• Familiarity with IAM, RBAC, and cloud infrastructure security fundamentals
